Let’s talk about what the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office, or AARO, is really doing in its so-called investigation of unidentified phenomena. In the recent Netflix series Investigation Alien, AARO claims there’s “no evidence of extraterrestrials or any government cover-up.” But here’s the catch: they’re only looking for extraterrestrial evidence. That’s a specific, narrow search, and it leaves out other possible explanations. The term "extraterrestrial" means something from beyond Earth. By sticking to that word, AARO avoids investigating anything that might be terrestrial, man-made, or even interdimensional. They’re sidestepping a much deeper question: what are these phenomena if they’re not from outer space? If these objects are classified tech, next-gen drones, or even unknown terrestrial beings, AARO can truthfully say, “No extraterrestrial evidence,” while still holding back key information. And what about phenomena that defy the physical rules we know? By focusing only on what’s extraterrestrial, they’re ignoring the bigger picture. This narrow investigation lets agencies claim “no cover-up” without actually giving us real answers. They’re controlling the narrative, keeping public trust while letting the truth slip through the cracks. Is it a loophole? Or is it strategic evasion? Either way, AARO’s limits leave us in the dark. I get surprise when I run into a bison at Deadmans Creek in the San Luis Valley.
